About Bites! of the North Bronx

Laura Levine-Pinedo, Executive Director of KRVC
I don't look at these restaurants as just four walls or simple storefronts — I see each one as the realization of someone's hard-earned dream.

A life in hospitality

Hello — I'm Laura Levine-Pinedo. I've worked in restaurants and hospitality since I was fourteen, working my way up from hostess, server, and bartender to general manager. This industry is full of strong, resilient people who deserve to be celebrated.

Why the North Bronx

I've fallen in love with the restaurants and businesses of the North Bronx. If you haven't yet, I hope this week makes you fall in love with them, too.

The North Bronx is home to an incredibly diverse range of dining: from longstanding neighborhood institutions to rooms that have earned serious citywide attention.

Whether you're a lifelong resident or a first-time visitor, there's something for everyone in our local culinary scene. I hope you'll use this week as the perfect excuse to get out, explore these gems, and taste the passion behind every dish.

Come out hungry

Above all, come out and support our local economy: eat, drink, catch some music, and soak in the atmosphere. It's about the vibe — and we can't wait for you to feel the energy of Bites! of the North Bronx. I hope you came hungry — we're going to eat our way around the North Bronx.
